Christa and Shawn were married at Lakeside Greens in Chestemere, just outside of Calgary.

What a beautiful venue and amazing food!  Although it was –10 outside, we came prepared as always and got some wonderful shots indoors!  The staff at Lakeside Greens were simply amazing, allowing us to setup the equipment and backdrops we needed to complete some of the photos we were unable to do outside.  Thank you very much for working with us!

Onto Christa and Shawn now.

They had a smaller venue, but was very intimate.  The fireplace was on, putting out heat and candles on all of the tables.   It sure made us forget about the weather outside.  The wedding was done indoors, and everyone looked like they were having a blast!  We definitely enjoyed ourselves at your wedding and appreciated your enthusiasm throughout the entire day!

My sister recently got married in Vancouver, and it wasn’t your normal wedding.  This was a completely HALLOWEEN THEMED wedding (Groom went full costume as Frankenstein, Bride was full costume of Bride of Frankenstein).  Now, I’m sure you’re all wanting to see these photos.  But I had to listen to my sisters request, and that was have FUN. 

They had hired some amazing photographers based out of Vancouver since I couldn’t get in early enough (flying).  The company is Sara Borck (www.saraborck.com).  These were the most real people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.  Down to earth and can definitely take amazing photos.  Sara & Matt, it was a pleasure to meet you both.

Since the wedding was on Friday, I volunteered to take photos on Saturday.  Your regular family photos along with some time with just my sister and her new husband. 

It was a beautiful day in Langley/Surrey, blue skies, perfect temperatures and better yet, leaves on the trees and TONS of colors.

Cara, you are an amazing women and I know you and Ryan are perfect for each other.  I wish you nothing but the best in life and it was truly a pleasure being able to take photos for you two!!

Kim and Randal’s daughter came with Randal to pick up the photos from their wedding.  We had an awesome visit with both Randal & Jess but like most of our visits, we end up talking about things that have happened lately, or have been going on since we photographed their wedding!

After a little while, we found out Jessica wants to be a photographer!!  What a great choice for a career!! (We enjoy it).  So we decided to bring her into the studio, take some photos, give her some tips and get her even more excited about photography.

Here are some photos that I’ve selected and edited, and I thought since I had them on the screen, I would touch them up and do a blog post.  We’ve been extremely busy (I’m sure you hear that a lot), so we’ll keep updating as fast as possible to keep everyone that visits, entertained.

September 5th, 2009.  It was another beautiful day in Calgary!  What made it even better was Dulman and Mandy!  They were such a welcoming couple we had a blast being a part of their special day!

Mandy, you looked beautiful and Dulman, the guys looked great!  I loved the hats, they made all the photos really stand out.

We’ve been busier than ever at Eternal Photography,  so we apologize (yes… again) for the delay.  We promise it’s well worth the wait!  With our new office and so many great photo’s to place online for everyone to see!!

Tonight, we had the pleasure to take part in a “MURDER AND MATRIMONY” wedding for Juanita and Joel hosted at the Deane House with performances provided by Pegasus Performances (www.greatfun.ca).  It was a ton of fun!!

They were an absolute pleasure to deal with and for us photographers, even more fun that they would pose for us… even during their acting!!

Pegasus Murder Mysteries and Theatrical Performances – or PEGASUS PERFORMANCES for short - is a Calgary, Alberta based theatre company (but happy to tour!  We’ve even been brought in to Las Vegas, USA!) providing entertainment since 1993.

The resident company at the historic DEANE HOUSE RESTAURANT (host of the longest-running Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre in Calgary), PEGASUS specializes in interactive Murder Mystery shows within the context of Dinner Theatre, but we are also able to provide many other forms of entertainment and are genuinely interested in putting the FUN in any function and making your event very special.
